About Me I'm a registered dietitian living in Campbell River, BC, on beautiful Vancouver Island. My husband and I moved to Vancouver Island in 2015, for me to complete the 5th year of my dietetics program (the practicum), we knew we wanted to stay and we now call Campbell River home. When we're not working, you will most likely find us traveling, hiking, camping, or renovating our home. We also share our home with two cats and a dog!
My route to becoming a dietitian was not direct, at all, it spanned almost nine years, three universities and two countries. I started by completing a Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition and Health in 2012, after a year of working, I returned to complete a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, at the University of British Columbia in 2016. Over the years, I've worked in many different health care settings: food services, residential care, hospitals, and in the community. Today, I work with prenatal, youth, adult and senior populations in outpatient and community settings.

About my Approach My approach to health and nutrition is evidenced based and compassionate, which means working alongside clients to find individualized solutions that fit their lifestyle and values. I also work from Health at Every Size® and Intuitive Eating philosophies, meeting clients where they are, without shame or guilt. I advocate against diets, deprivation, and weight stigma because I believe that health comes in all shapes and sizes. I can help you improve your overall health, feel confident with your food choices, and engage in mindful movement. My goal is to help you focus on the important things so you can worry less and enjoy life more.
